I worked on the http://www.quasarexhibition.com It was a fun project to do, and I made a simulation of the whole system.
This was a piece that took digitally edited images with mapped points and used them as connection points for a randomly generated collage. The work was a collaboration with Bjork Christensen.
I needed a way to visualize the manner in which a truck might attract workers from various businesses within the City of Vernon, CA – during the lunch hour as it makes it way around town. So this was the product of my attempt

This was my first Processing Sketch. It came about as I was trying to find a way to graphically represent the Nearest Neighbor Problem. I just ended up using brute force instead of employing a more efficient function. I once came across a Library for the nearest neighbor problem and the traveling salesman problem. For lack of a better name, I dubbed the pre-release, “The City.”
