I called up Ken Cameron, from FOURWALL about a possible collaboration opportunity after graduating sci-Arc. I had known Ken through an Ed Keller class. We had a shared interest in media and architecture, and I was looking to get my feet wet with a new project.
The timing was right, he had a flash research project in mind, and I was hungry for a collaborative opportunity. He introduced me to his partner, Charles, and another fellow cohort, and we setup the project parameters for Candela and got to work.
What they do
FOURWALL is a multidisciplinary design studio and post production entity. They are Architects Designers and Directors interested in the convergence of digital and physical environments. FOURWALL was founded by Charles Hellwig and Kenneth Cameron.
Charles Hellwig
Charles has a background in film and architecture. He has an extensive history working with major clients, and has directed numerous commercial works. He’s basically the breadwinner. That’s why you might not catch him at the office.
Kenneth Cameron
If you ever meet Ken, you should ask him about his past life. Mostly likely, he’ll avoid your inquiry, and engage you in a wonderful conversations about interaction and environments. Watch out for Ken’s eye, according to Charles, he’s got a great eye for things.
